The disappointment didn’t last long because the vibe of the place and service was incredible, when the food came I couldn’t believe how good it was. "Our 2nd time here and not yet disappointed! It’s a challenge to find consistently well-thought out, delicious food in Aix. This is definitely a place to go to again and again. We shared the pan con tomate, their version of a Spanish classic: rice flour toast, garlicky tomato purée, roasted portobello mushroom, and grated manchego. The scallops and octopus were tender, accompanied by a nutty, sweet carrot purée to complement the briny lobster jus. And what I expected to like the least, I loved the most. Their stuffed cabbage had the such an herb-y pork filling and slightly acidic veal jus. So much umami in that dish! Don’t forget the wines, which are plenty in variety - many natural and organic. We decided to take a bottle of La Mongestine’s Georgette thinking we would take the rest home. Instead, we shared some with the neighboring table after they had offered some of their delicious El Pop with us. So many more wines to try…The staff knows their stuff and wants to make sure you return. And believe me, you will."
